HW requirements

Note that following requirements are minimum hardware requirements to run the SDK for testing or integration. Hardware requirements for a particular project are calculated by company’s specialists and depend on several factors, such as size of the enrollment database, income load of the system, etc.

  • CPU: Intel or AMD with AVX2 instructions
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Hard drive: 4 GB free space on a drive

Neurodactyl fingerprint recognition SDK can utilize GPU.
Minimum GPU requirements: NVidia GPU with Pascal architecture or later, 6GB RAM on GPU In order to choose the most efficient GPU model for a particular project, consult our specialists.

SW requirements

OS: Linux (amd64), Windows, MacOS

Image requirements

  • For scanned fingerprints: 250 dpi or higher, flat or rolled fingerprints. More than one fingerprint on an image is allowed.
  • For photo images: quality of an image (resolution and sharpness) must provide visible fingerprints patterns. Size of a phalanx must be at least 200 pixels.
  • If you plan to work with photographed scans from paper or an ID, consult us for recommendations.
  • Supported image formats: WSQ, jpg, png, bmp.
